Important Deadlines

- As CAPCOA must commit to meeting event costs well before the actual Retreat, please note that cancelling after this deadline may incur a cancellation fee equal to the full registration amount.

Registration Fees
- Virtual Attendance
- Registration Fee: $150
- The Zoom information will be included in the meeting agenda and calendar invitation. If you have not received the invitation, please contact Staff@CAPCOA.org.
- In Person Attendance
- Registration Fee: $825
Hotel Accommodations
- A room block has been reserved for CAPCOA attendees at: Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay Downtown
- Group Rate: $209.00 per night (plus applicable taxes and fees)
- Resort Fee: Waived for CAPCOA Attendees
Please reserve your room using the official CAPCOA booking link provided in the form by Saturday, August 29th.
- Hotel Check-In: 4:00 PM
- Hotel Check-Out: 11:00 AM
For early check-in or late check-out requests, please contact the hotel directly at (619) 239-2400 or in person at the hotel’s front desk.
PLEASE NOTE: CAPCOA has committed to reserving a minimum number of guest rooms under our hotel contract. Reservations made outside the official CAPCOA booking link or after the hotel reservation deadline may raise the registration fee for all attendees.

Tuesday, September 29th
6:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast Buffet provided by hotel in Atrium.
9:00 AM: Legislative Retreat Begins in Topeka Meeting Room (2nd Floor)
10:30 AM – Morning Break: Coffee & Refreshments in Foyer
12:00 Noon- 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
3:00 PM – Afternoon Break: Coffee & Refreshments in Foyer
5:00 PM: Meeting Ends
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Complimentary Evening Reception provided by hotel in Atrium.
Wednesday, September 30th
6:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast Buffet provided by hotel in Atrium.
9:00 AM: Legislative Retreat Day 2 Begins in Topeka Meeting Room (2nd Floor)
12:00 Noon: Adjournment
Registration & Cancellation Policy
With the rising costs of travel, goods, and services, late cancellations may significantly increase registration fees for all attendees. CAPCOA makes every effort to establish registration fees as fairly and accurately as possible. Please make note of the registration and cancellation deadlines below.
Registration Deadlines
Please submit your registration by COB Friday, August 21, 2026.
Registrations received after this date will be accepted on a case-by-case basis and may include additional fees, dependent on any additional costs that may be incurred by the Association. If you must register after this deadline, please contact Staff@CAPCOA.org or Kellie Keitt at Kellie@CAPCOA.org as soon as possible.
Cancellations
If after registering, you are no longer able to attend in person, please notify CAPCOA Staff by COB Friday, August 21, 2026, by emailing Staff@CAPCOA.org. Please also be sure to cancel your hotel accommodation by contacting the hotel directly. The hotel has its own cancellation policies and may require a fee. Please contact the hotel directly for additional cancellation information.
**Attendees who cancel their registration after the cancellation deadline may be responsible for the full registration fee as shown above.**
