At 9:00 am\, Samir Sheikh\, CAPCOA President\, will welcome everyone\, followed by an engaging discussion on electricity at 9:10 am\, covering the Summer 2024 Reliability Outlook and new federal standards. \nTake a break at 10:30 am and return at 10:45 am for a legislative update by Brendan Twohig. Enjoy lunch at noon (location TBD)\, then join the US EPA/CARB/CAPCOA roundtable at 1:30 pm featuring Matt Lakin\, Steve Cliff\, and Samir Sheikh. \nAfter the 3:30 pm break\, we will reconvene at 3:45 pm for a presentation on Diversity\, Equity\, Inclusion\, and Environmental Justice by Aeron Arlin Genet and Dr. Anissa Heard-Johnson. The day’s events conclude at 4:45 pm. \nAt 6:00 pm\, join us for the CAPCOA Membership Dinner (location TBD) with special guests\, including representatives from US EPA\, CARB\, and retired APCO Glen Stephens.
